Volunteers Needed for Greater Binghamton Air Show

(TOWN OF MAINE, NY) Broome County is looking for volunteers for the Greater Binghamton Air Show.

It is scheduled for Saturday, June 23 and expected to bring 12,000 visitors to the Greater Binghamton Airport.

“Volunteers make this event work,” said David Hickling, Broome County Commissioner of Aviation, “Local residents giving their time, skills, and smiles creates an incredible event for every attendee. We would not be able to do this without our great volunteers.”

Past Greater Binghamton Air Shows have been supported by hundreds of volunteers.

Opportunities to volunteer include set up/tear down, admissions, static display area, flight line, and hospitality. Volunteers receive a free Greater Binghamton Airshow t-shirt, free admission to the Air Show, and one additional ticket.

To volunteer, visit www.flybgm.com/bgmairshow.html to fill out the volunteer application and email it to aviation@co.broome.ny.us.

Again, this year’s Air Show will be held on Saturday, June 23 at the Greater Binghamton Airport. Gates will open at 10 a.m. with jam-packed, exciting performances from noon until 4 p.m.
