Broome County Executive Seeks Input From Public on New County Website
Binghamton, NY– Broome County Executive Jason Garnar is asking residents for input on what they want to see on the new County website.
“A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be going out in the next few weeks. I’ve already discussed with my department heads and the legislature what their needs are, but I want to hear from the community,” Garnar said. “A mobile friendly, easy to use website is vital to a transparent and open government. I want Broome County residents and those visiting the area to be able to find any information they need quickly and efficiently.”
Residents can submit their suggestions to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition, Garnar is encouraging all local website design companies to submit a proposal.
“When the RFP is released my office will also be contacting local vendors directly. We want Broome County businesses to have an opportunity to design the website that will be used by Broome County.”
