Broome County Executive Jason Garnar Asks for Report on How Repeal of ACA Will Affect Broome County
BINGHAMTON, NY –Broome County Executive Jason Garnar announced that Broome County Department Heads were asked to begin developing a report on the impact of the Affordable Care Act repeal. A public report based on their findings will be issued in the next few weeks. It will also include community input collected at a public forum to be held on Tuesday, March 28 from 5:30-7:30 in the Decker Room of the Broome County Library.
“The impact of repealing the Affordable Care Act will reach over 20,000 Broome County residents,” said Garnar. “That is why I asked my department heads to prepare a report that will outline what the cost to Broome County will be.”
